RIP: David Carradine of "Kung Fu" and "Kill Bill" fame

You've probably seen the news already that 72-year-old David Carradine died in Bangkok, Thailand of what is thought to be suicide. The actor is best known to this generation as the titular Bill from the "Kill Bill" movies, but cemented his acting life playing Kwai Chang Caine aka "Grasshopper" on the 1970s television series "Kung Fu."

Carradine also appeared in guest roles on countless television shows, including "Alias," "King of the Hill" and, yes, even an episode of "Lizzie McGuire." Entertainment Weekly has a great retrospective on his life's work here.

If reading isn't your thing, check out this clip from the 1972 pilot of "Kung Fu."
