"Lost" week begins!

Wipe the drool from your chin, "Lost" fans. Only one week to go!

Technically, the ball shouldn't get rolling until we're on the other side of Sunday. But if next Wednesday's Season Five premiere is Christmas morning, then tonight is when mom and dad let you pick one teaser present beneath the tree to open.

ABC is re-airing the Season Four finale at 7 p.m., tonight. The episode is enhanced, which means clues and tidbits galore heading into next week's big bang.

Maybe you'll learn something. Maybe not. Seeing Ben turn the frozen donkey wheel should still be a treat, though.

To get ready, we're also trolling the Web for "Lost"-related goodness. We'll take all the scoopage we can get, so feel free to leave a link or two you've found in the comments section. That way we'll be fully prepared for the invisible island and all its shenanigans come next week.

Some links worth checking out.

Maureen Ryan of the Chicago Tribune has a tasty Q&A with the "Lost" brain trust, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. "Basically, the only two sides that matter in any grand, epic storytelling are good and evil. Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys? And for so long, Ben Linus has been identifying himself as a good guy, but we’ve been seeing him engage in behaviors that would lead us to believe that that is not entirely the truth. The only question that matters is, what is ultimately a force of good and what is ultimately a force of evil, and what side of it are our characters going to end up on? Will some go one way and some go the other?"

Entertainment Weekly's always-awesome Doc Jensen offers some sound advice on what to pay attention to before watching the Season Five premiere. A nice, little teaser theory about raising the dead is also tacked on the end.

Want to test your knowledge of Season Four minutiae? Try beating my expert level score of 31 -- I'll admit, multiple choice made it easier to guess, and doing these blogs allowed me to know the correct spelling of Miles Straume's name.

Where did we leave things on Channel Surfing? Here's a look back to last year when Adam Reinhard and I counted down our favorite "Holy Crap" moments before the Season Four premiere. Also, some finale thoughts that may or may not be embarrassingly bad from yours truly.
