Jemaine as Tom Selleck? Gabe Kaplan? Tobias Funke?

I don't really have much to add to the "Conchords" convo from Monday. As I told MJ and Sara, I actually expected the crowd to be worse based on some reviews I had read, so maybe, just maybe, that allowed me to cut the three-headed monster behind me a little slack when it came to finishing lyrics before Germaine, er Jemaine, and Bret sang them on stage, or the constant stream of Beatlemania-like "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO's!" in my ear. I'd repeat what my wife said about the gruesome threesome, but hey, this is a family blog.

So yeah, two cents time. My favorite moment was actually an ad-lib by Jemaine early in the show. Someone yelled "Inner City Pressure!" in an annoying, nasally voice from the balcony, and Jemaine, with his lightning-quick wit, shot back with, "Hey, I didn't know the guy from the B-52s was here," which then led to an impromptu sampling of "Love Shack." Bret was pretty awesome Sunday night, but man, Jemaine is a naturally funny dude.

In closing, here's the new "Ladies of the World" video to satisfy all you "Conchords" fans -- don't care if you're ugly, or skanky or small -- who couldn't make the sold-out show.
