Jeanine the rightful champ on 'So You Think You Can Dance'
If you can't tell, I'm a bit excited by the fact that a true champion took the crown of "America's Favorite Dancer" on "So You Think You Can Dance." Jeanine Moore, an 18 year old from Florida, won the dance show during last night's two-hour finale and everyone in America gave a collective sigh of relief that it wasn't Evan. OK, I'm done, I promise.
Back to the winner news ... Jeanine truly deserves this. Not only did she dance her tush off, but she had a personality that you couldn't help but adore. From the second she stepped on stage for the first routine of the season -- with fan favorite Phillip Chbeeb -- she had America quickly switching from asking "Who's that again?" to "Dang Gina, this girl is good!"
And while yes, I have to agree that Brandon is a stronger dancer (oh, those muscles ... drool ... ) I think Jeanine had the total package. And to think, she even survived the first -- and hopefully last -- Russian routine. Well done Jeanine, indeed.
To truly celebrate her win, let's take a look back, a la Cat Deeley, and see the best dances that made Jeanine America's favorite ...
The Travis Wall dance ... my fave dance of the season!
The dance that started it all
Dang Gina, indeed ...
Congratulations Jeanine! A well deserved win.
No fear dance fans, "So You Think You Can Dance" starts up again in September on FOX.
